Florida Day 2!

I'm not going to lie. One of the biggest reasons I look forward to vacation without the kids is the potential for getting some good sleep. Ahh, sweet sleep...without interruption! That's exactly what I got the first night in our vacation house! I slept in. Doc got up and around earlier than I did and I didn't even feel him get out of bed! Around 10:30 am. I finally woke up and made my way out to find him.

With the sun shining down, I thought it would be a good time to take some photos of the house and more importantly the view!

Doc knows that the secret to making me feel loved is a cup of coffee in the morning, placed in my hand, made just the way I like it. He's good! Then he told me he would make ME breakfast this morning!

Good food. Great man. I love him. And eggs. And eggs he makes me. With fruit and toast! Did I mention that he picked out only the fruit that I like, from the fruit salad, for my plate? Sigh!

Next we decided to go to Fort Myers Beach. We explored a little there and then headed back to Ft. Myers.

We were on a mission. And we were successful. We found the two things we were looking for... a gym and a hair salon. Doc needed a workout and I needed to get rid of the roots and split ends that made me look like I hadn't stepped into a salon in MONTHS. Wait. I guess I hadn't.

We found Gold's Gym for him and The Red Salon for me! Alleluia!

Then, after the workout and hair rescue, we went to our neighborhood Applebee's for dinner. On the way, we took in the local fashions....

We finished our evening out by going to Barnes and Nobles where we hung out and looked at books that did not have pictures of Elmo. Nothing against Elmo.

I can barely read your blog because I am so jealous of your adults-only vacation.

A busy man who will bring his wife a good cup of coffee in the morning is definitely a gift from God! It is one of the things I love about my hubby! And he even brings my daughter coffee in the morning! Yep, have to snap a picture of that! It's not pretty!

The guy in yellow socks cracked me up! :D
