Home School Love Day Party

We got crafty for Love Day! We made Lou's Valentines with little flip flop note pads and matching pencils! The sign she's holding says..."You make my heart do flip flops!" The can is her Valentine holder for the home school party.

Then there is Bub. He's a wild man. I thought I should make him Valentines that express that personality! So I laid on the floor and took this picture of him jumping off my bed...

And turned it into this...

It says..."You make me jump for joy, Valentine!"

Then I made mini cupcakes for the Valentine's Day Party!

Speaking of the Valentine's Day party...obviously these guys hadn't had any cupcakes, yet. They look thrilled to be there, huh?

Pixie and Lou Lou were much happier. They must not have been as hungry!

Birdie looked so festive and cute in her "birdie" sweater! How fitting!! Ladybug was wondering why I was holding the camera and not her. Who did I think I was!
And finally, The Southern Gentleman's party highlight was the marshmallow on a stick dipped in chocolate! A stroke of genius by Birdie's creative brain! Simple, yet brilliant! And tasty! Just ask SG!

Are you creative or WHAT?! I feel that's what I have really lacked as a homeschooling mom - the ability to do the craft thing. It just WASN'T my thing. The mess overwhelmed me. And I have a VERY artsy daughter, poor thing.

And what a set-up on that photo of your son! Fantastic job.

Come on over to enter my contest. I've got two $50 gift cards to Amazon.com to give away. :)

I also need to get MORE creative on those Valentines...this was my first year and I was SO not motivated to be clever. lol. Our Son LOVED Bubs....

"Love Day?" That is funny, because that is what CJ calls it....well, "Happy, I LOVE YOU day."

Those valentines are SO CUTE! You seriously got creative! I am impressed! The boys versus the girls at the "love day" party cracked me up... :D
