Florida Day 4

Our friends Kristin and Tony arrived in the early morning hours of day 3. Our other friends Laura and Greg arrived at 9:30 am that morning. Kristin and I sent the boys to the airport to get them while we visited. When the crew got back, I made a big breakfast of biscuits and sausage gravy and eggs. We all ate a leisurely breakfast and then threw on our suits and headed out to the pool for more catching up!

And that's pretty much all we did all day. We visited, read, napped, swam and drank delicious margaritas that Tony made. He is our resident bartender and a darn fine one!

( By the way, I would really recommend the book above. It is enjoyable. Not too heavy but pretty to the point about religiosity.)

We all enjoyed the pool side views...

Like the view of the boating dog...
And the up close and personal views of the dolphins frolicking by "our" dock.

Not to mention, the views of the sky and water.

Then, we all went in and showered up so that we could make it back out to enjoy the sunset.

After the sun went down, we thought we should head out and get some dinner! So we piled in the convertibles and headed down the road to this restaurant...

The menu was full of yummy choices and it was hard to decide.
But let me tell you, I was willing to do the hard work!

And it made Doc and me happy just to be together and with our "family we got to choose".
Cheers to friend that are more like family! And here's to vacation!

Then we got our nachos. Come to mama, you deliciousness on a plate.

After we finished off the nachos, we got our food. It was delicious as well. Parrot Key gets 2 thumbs up from me.

And the entertainment rocks, too. This dude sang everything from Elvis to Funky Cold Medina.

After dinner, we found the pregnant Kristin some heartburn soothing ice cream!

On the way back to our cars, we found a sign that showed just how far our friends were from home. Check out Indianapolis! Nice!

I love vacation!
